South America!

O.K. this is the second time I am writing this post so it will be brief this time so I don't lose it. I previously wrote a long piece about my plane trip, but I will write that story later. Then I got all excited about writing in espanol and tried to make the little symbol that goes over the "n" and somehow exited my post without saving it.

Basically so far, South America is very far away. LONG plane ride. Nice people. The crappy thing about trying to blog in South America is that apparently blogspot or blogger or whatever site this is can preternaturally sense that I am, indeed, in South America. So literally every screen is in Spanish. Which is fine, but all the directions are in Spanish and I am not as familiar with the instructions for blogging and so trying to read the instrucciones in espanol is not as easy as I thought. See--I held back from even trying to do the symbol over the n in espanol. I am not losing this post too, damn it.

Also, apparently they went on daylight savings time on Sunday. Of course. Imagine trying to understand someone attempting to explain that in Spanish. I didn't get it. I made a wake-up call for 7 am and was really pissed off that they called at six. Then I went down to breakfast and the car service was already there to pick us up. I guess this is what it means to enjoy traveling. Anyway, I will start posting my previous days stories tonight. I am going to post this now and then post a picture (fingers crossed.)
